Description

The main treatment option for wet AMD during the last six years has been anti-VEGF injections. In spite of a straightforward treatment and follow-up protocol, the practical treatment schedules seem to differ quite a lot between eye clinics – also inside Scandinavia. This section will first include an overview presentation of the treatment strategies available today. After that there is a short presentation from each Scandinavian country of the anti-VEGF treatment protocol used in their hospital. Finally there is a round table discussion between the delegates and the audience.
